The Whitehall Theatre is situated in Cultural Quarter of Dundee, close to Dundee University Campus. You can use the below map to get directions to the theatre.
Travelling to the venue
From the High Street, head west towards the Perth Road, once at the traffic lights take a right up to the roundabout. Take the first left up westport and continue up past the University accommodation and you will then see the Theatre on the right at the corner of Bellfield Street.
Service 22c from Xplore Dundee is the main service and stops outside the Theatre after 6.30pm each evening. During the day, please alight the 22 at the Al-Maktoum Institute, which is a short walk to the theatre.

The main Bus Station is a thirty minute walk. Bus and coach services can be checked at either Citylink or Stagecoach.
Dundee Taybridge Station is twenty minutes walk. Train times can be checked at National Rail Enquiries.
Driving From:
Aberdeen (1 hour approx.)
A90 Forfar/Dundee route. As you approach the City take the A929 Forfar Road following signs for the City Centre.
Inverness (3 hours approx.)
A9 to Perth then onto A90 to Dundee.
Edinburgh (1 hour approx.)
M90 to Perth then onto A90 to Dundee.
Glasgow (1 ½ hours approx.)
M8 to Stirling then the M9 to Dunblane onto the M90 to Perth then A90 to Dundee..
Perth (25 minutes approx.)
A90 to Dundee approximately 22 miles. At the Swallow Hotel roundabout take a right for the A85 to City Centre.
Main drop off point is Bellfield Street.
The nearest taxi rank is situated in the High Street in front of the City Churches.
On-street parking is free after 6.00pm around the Theatre, as are the local car parks.
Dundee Airport is approximately one mile from the City, a twenty minute taxi journey. Scheduled flight details can be found at Highlands and Islands Airports Limited.
Parking
There are limited parking spaces directly at the Whitehall Theatre, but several car parks are available within easy walking distance.
Please check parking restrictions and charges carefully, as these vary between Dundee City Council and University of Dundee car parks.
⚠️ Important: On-Street Parking
Please be aware that Dundee City Council parking wardens now operate until 8.00pm.
While on-street parking is generally free after 6.00pm, this does not mean that you can park on double yellow lines or in other restricted areas. Parking restrictions remain in force, regardless of whether a charge applies.
Local council car parks are also generally free after 6.00pm, subject to their individual terms and conditions.

University of Dundee – Heathfields Car Park
Whitehall Theatre patrons can also use Heathfields Car Park, operated by the University of Dundee.
The car park is approximately a 6-minute walk from the Theatre.
