We spoke to Head Ranger, Felicity Fossil and asked a few questions:

So Felicity, what is your role at Jurassic Earth?

“It’s me that unlocks the action, feeds the Dinosaurs and sends a Jurassic team on the road to Theatres around the country. Every day is an adventure here.”

How did Jurassic Earth come about?  

“Jurassic Earth first hatched the idea for a Theatre Show during lockdown; we wanted to create a Covid-safe show that people could enjoy in a Socially Distanced environment. We were the first Production Company to bring Dinosaurs to a Theatre audience.

There are other Dinosaur Shows out there, what makes yours different?

“We are very flattered that a number of companies have copied the idea, however, none have a cast as large; we tour with 17 actors, puppeteers, Operators and crew, and I believe hundreds of genuine reviews speak for themselves! Our show features the most realistic Dinosaurs – we really bring these extinct creatures to life – just ask Holly Willoughby and Ashley Banjo who both were scared witless by our Raptor during Dancing on Ice! https://youtu.be/nOa_pGqQTbs

Also, this is not just a show – it’s an experience that starts as soon as you enter the Theatre, with our cast roaming the foyer on arrival! We have animatronics, props and giant Dinosaur Eggs for photo opportunities.”

Is Jurassic Earth safe?

“If you follow Ranger Danger’s survival training, you should be almost, absolutely fine. 

A few additional survival tips as follows:

• Don’t put your hand inside a dinosaur’s mouth. 
• Don’t pull a dinosaur’s tail.
• Stay still and hide. 
• Bring meat to distract the predators. 
• Have your camera ready to grab an action shot.”
